Lenovo Lets Loose All-In-One IdeaCentre B305 Now Shipping For $699
Computer users may be flockig to the laptop form factor by the truck loads, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t still a market for desktop computers. While some users prefer the portability of laptops, others prefer the productivity benefits of having a desktop computer. With a laptop you’re sacrificing screen and keyboard real estate for the portability, something you may or may not be OK with.

With a laptop you’re sacrificing screen and keyboard real estate for the portability, something you may or may not be OK with.
Another sure fire benefit for having a desktop computer is vastly superior hardware at a much lower price. Finding a desktop machine with a bunch of RAM, loads of storage and one of the latest processors for under $1,000 dollars may seem like an easy task but when you try to do the same with a laptop, it becomes a chore.
Regardless of which form factor you’re partial to, both continue to improve at a rapid pace. One such improvement in the desktop sector is the pairing of touchscreens with all-in-one solutions. The latest of scuh machines is the IdeaCentre B305 from Lenovo which has just been made available for purchase.
The IdeaCentre B305, pictured above, features a 21.5-inch full HD 1920 x 1080 multitouch display, an AMDI Athlon II X2 235e AM3 processor clocked at 2.7Ghz, a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5450 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 320GB of hard drive space, a DVD burner and Windows 7 Home Premium. Best of all, the computer retails for just $699 as a starting price with additional components and hardware available at a premium with prices reaching as high as $949.
While there have been countless all-in-one multitouch computers on the market, Lenovo’s IdeaCentre B305 has got to be one of the cheapest we’ve seen yet. Luckily, with the low price doesn’t come crippled specs as the 2.7GHz AMD processor, ATI Mobility Radeon HD GPU and varying RAM configurations, the IdeaCentre may be the perfect addition to any household.
