Genesi USA Re-Introduces the Efika MX Smartbook-Price And Detail
Genesi USA launched their Efika MX Smartbook back in 2010 for a price of approximately $350, they have decided to slash the price to approximately half of the introductory price at $199. With the new price, it still comes with the standard functions found when it was in the $300 range. It comes with a 10.1-inch LED backlit display with a resolution of 1024 x 600, it packs the power of a Freescale i.MX515 processor that clocks at 800MHz, it has up to 16GB of flash storage and supports SD/MMC memory card for additional storage options. The Smartbook also comes with WiFi connectivity that will operate on 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, a 1.3-Megapixel camera, two USB ports and built-in stereo speaker.
The Efika MX Smartbook will also be available in a 3G version which will also be sold by the company for a price of $249. The Efika MX Smartbook could be described as a compact device, measuring at 76 x 181 x 21mm and weighs in at 930 grams which makes it perfect for users on the go!
