Rogers To Carry The BlackBerry Curve 3G- Price and Reviews

Research In Motion made a splash with their announcement of the BlackBerry Torch 9800, but in a much quieter move, it’s been confirmed that another RIM smartphone, the BlackBerry Curve 3G will be available through Rogers. The Curve 3G is more commonly known as the 9300 and it will replace the older 8520 model, adding both 3G on GSM networks as well as the much faster wireless N (802.11n) technology.

The Curve 3G will come with BlackBerry 5 instead of BlackBerry 6 and will sport a 320×240 pixel resolution display screen, 2MP integrated camera and GPS support. The phone will be available for about $80 on a three year service plan which works out to about $50 more then what the older model was going for on a similar plan. If you want to buy the phone contract free, expect to pay $400.
