MKB Mercedes SL 65 AMG Black Series Performance
This is the latest project from the tuning firm MKB for the Mercedes SL 65 AMG Black Series called the P 1000. Featuring several styling and performance improvements, this Black Series Mercedes received larger turbos, new air intakes, upgraded cooling system, high performance camshafts, and an ECU tuning upgrade to top it off. You can already guess what the P1000 stands for, a whopping 1,000 bhp from the modified automatic transmission to handle all that power. MKB also offers a variety of limited slip differentials for the 6.0-liter V12 Mercedes-Benz.
The Mercedes SL 65 received a large torque increase from these aftermarket parts, boosting 1,300 Nm of torque, and is as fast as a Bugatti Veyron. At the track it was able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, reach 200 km/h in 8.9 seconds, 300 km/h in 21.5 seconds, and MKB estimates the top speed to be around 370 km/h. Those are some amazing numbers for this Mercedes Black Series, which is priced at 116,800 Euros (including 19% VAT), and takes MKB three months to complete.
