Amazing Jellyfish Lake in Palau - Wonderful Photos

The amazing jellyfish lake, lying 400 miles east of the Philippines,is a natural wonder that was created accidently as a result of a rise of a submerged reef from deep down the sea that caused this saltwater lake.Living in these conditions, the jellyfish has adapted many new things and lost many old ones like losing their sting.

The jellyfish have 8 eyes and algae in their cells that help them a lot in their survival. Each day these jellyfish float from one side of the sea to the other to get sunlight for the better growth of their internal algae. In the night, the jellyfish travel towards the depths of the sea where the water is full of nitrogen that also has great quantity of algae. There is only one thing harmful for jellyfish and that is the sea anemone. These creatures can sting, kill or trap these creatures.

Special trips are arranged by Palau resorts to get there as it is a snorkel point,to see these special and wonderful creatures. Do not forget to have your diveskin and sturdy shoes to have complete fun.
