Knight XV Debut at Top Marques Monaco Concept
For the first time in Europe at the 2011 Top Marques Monaco, US company Conquest Vehicles will debut their custom luxury armored car called the Knight XV. In a limited production of only hundred cars, the Conquest Vehicle company says it defines the futures of handcrafted fully armored luxurious rides. It comes powered by a 6.8-liter Ford V10 engine with an E-85 ethanol conversion, and currently holds the title as the largest armor built SUV in the world by military vehicle designs. The Knight XV takes about three months to build, with a total of 1,500 hours by hand, and put together from the ground up.
Based off a specially modified Ford F550 chassis, the V10 produces 400 horsepower to go along with a 151 liter petrol tank, 5-speed automatic transmission, and 4-wheel-drive. The custom wheel package consists of new rims and Mickey Thompson Baja Radial ATZ tires with ballistic run flats meausring LT40/13.5/20. There will definitely be more pictures of the beastly Knight XV when it debuts at the Top Marques Monaco tuning show in April. Stay tuned!
