Antarctic Nail Ale Is the World’s Most Expensive Beer
The world’s most expensive beer, the Antarctic Nail Ale is produced by a Perth based brewery at their Nail Brewing head quarters. Last night, the auctioning took place in Freemantle, for $800 per bottle and the proceedings were directed towards the cause of saving the whales, and to support a group called Sea Shepherd.
The ice brought by them in the recent trip is used to brew the beer. The proceeds from the sale goes exclusively to this small organization named Sea Shepherd Conservation Society which has committed volunteers , unsung selfless hard workers who toil in extremely harsh weather to save the whales from being killed by commercial agencies. The Sea Shepherds are on their 7th campaign to protect the gigantic fish in the Antarctic.
This beer could be the world’s oldest and purest beer as it consists of 90% water. Nail Brewing has consistently won international awards and in the past 10 years it has an earned the reputation of being one of the classiest beers in the world. Nail Brewing thanks the Elliot Syndicate for buying the #1 bottle. John Stallwood, an Aussie brewer reveals that it is a great thing to sell the world’s most expensive beer for a good cause.
